More detail:

The project was presented at Bar PUN's latest secret space, Nest. From the homophonic pun of "bee, fragrant" in Taiwanese, Nest's main image is "honeycomb," presented in the form of installation art in the space.

The entire space is enveloped in plant fiber paper, with a regular hexagonal grid and irregular waves that do not bring a sense of oppression but rather a sense of stability, symbolizing a "homecoming" and visualizing and experiencing the image of bees returning to their hive.

The design inspiration for the coaster starts from the concept and spatial characteristics of the "hive," echoing the vitality of the honeycomb. We imagined the feeling of safety in the space transformed into "ripples" caused by raindrops falling from the top, mimicking the stacking of thoughts and forms. In addition to organic shapes, the coaster must also express the theme of the season's art exhibition in its color scheme, and include a "coin" in the center that can be used as part of the exhibition. The difference in height caused by the stacking can also safely hold the glasses used for business. Throughout the design and testing process, we were full of enthusiasm and creativity.

After we prepared the coaster color schemes for different quarters, the main design of the menu was extended from the coaster's color scheme. The dark Gmund Colors Matt #59 with silver ink printing echoed the theme of "rain" for the season. Guests can embed the coaster carrying memories of the night into the silver cardboard on the cover as the final part of the art exhibition. They can also take this beautiful print back and hope to read the poetry on the menu again or see the marks left by the drinks or usage on the coaster, recalling the unique memories brought by the space.

This was a challenge that limited the balance of multiple post-printing processing techniques and tested manual precision. We are very grateful to the owner for making cocktails, art, sound, vision, space, and printing all part of the exhibition, creating a new milestone. We also hope to continue to implement Trouver's core philosophy in the future:

We try to explore the boundary between philosophy and art, reshape emotions and physics into the form of objects, make the personalities of unique materials self-evident, merge traditional craftsmanship with modern elements, and create works full of stories and soul.
