The simplicity and purity of the material constantly question contemporary popular elements. In an era of over-design and information overload, it seems to call out to me, urging a return to essence, exploring the existential value between things. Design's purpose is not just innovation in form but achieving resonance with the soul, touching delicate and genuine emotions.

The exploration of paper has become a reflection on life and the meaning of existence for me. Paper, an item overlooked in daily life, how can it allow design to transcend visuals and reach the depths of the soul? This is a challenge for designers and also a process of seeking my answers.

Shin Danshi – Kirara Sinju

This is "Pearl," a new product from 2015 in the same series as the previously introduced Shin Danshi Kirara (Shin Danshi - Mica). In addition to continuing the cultural and historical significance of Danshi paper, it adds a luxurious pearl sheen to the surface that does not conflict with tradition. The natural fibers and rough texture of traditional Japanese paper are transformed into a silky softness, which, combined with the play of light and shadow, resembles the pure, flawless white of a princess's dress. The name "Pearl" aptly captures its beautiful essence.

這是之前介紹 Shin Danshi Kirara(新檀紙-雲母)同系列在2015的新作「真珠」，除了延續檀紙所帶來的文化及歷史意義以外，在表面增添了華麗卻又不與傳統衝突的珍珠光澤。將傳統和紙的天然纖維與粗糙感化為絲綢般的柔軟滑順，配合光影的呈現，就如同公主服飾般的潔白無暇，以「真珠」為命名，在感受性落下了美麗的封號。
